Guest hv_francesco Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 I have no more windows machines, as we just use Ubuntu Linux. Now I'd like to upgrade my liquid from Donut to Eclair. I have a virtual machine of Virtualbox with a XP on it, I can get the Acer tools to recognize my phone over USB, but I don't know if I can trust it and I was wondering if anyone has tried to flash a bin using virtualbox and if it worked fine. Other USB peripherals with latest Virtualbox work rather well, but I don't want to damage the phone.
Guest dguerre Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 Have a look at this http://android.modaco.com/content/acer-liq...h-rom-in-linux/
Guest phhusson Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 Have a look at this http://android.modaco.com/content/acer-liq...h-rom-in-linux/ It doesn't apply to Donut => Eclair change, which needs radio changes.
