No network or usb-connection

Hey!

I've been using Vache's Streamounay 0.2b rom, using the same build as in the thread, for a while. A few days ago though I realized there were some data from my old 1.6 rom that I needed, so I used the nandroid backup I made before flashing and updating to the streamounay rom. However, I forgot to make a nandroid backup while using the streamounay rom and now I'm stuck.

The situation is like this:

The phone does boot up and I am able to browse it.

The current kernel version is: Acer_Liquid_2.000.16_EMEA_GEN1

It doesn't seem like the phone is reading my sim-card, which means no network.

I am not able to mount the SD-card, unless I go through malez recovery.

I am unable to flash to a stock 1.6 or any other 2.1 kernels because acer update/download tool does not find the phone, even though it's plugged in through the usb.

I have been able to enter fastboot and accessed malez recovery boot.

But right now I am at loss of what to do .

I don't really care about what happens to any data on the phone at this moment, I've saved all necessary data on the SD card, I just want the phone to work again.

Any suggestions, tips, guides are more than welcome.

Br, Firebird

Do you have USB debugging enabled?

Install the latest Malez Recovery (5.3 I think...). Boot into recovery and plug the usb cable: the acer tool will find the phone and you'll be able to install a new rom

Let me know!

Bye

This worked partially. i was able to flash to the stock 1.6 rom. However, the phone doesn't read my sim-card >_<.

Can this be because I never had it in the phone when I flashed? :/

Have to reflash again to see.

/Update:

Reflashed with my SIM-card in and it my phone is alive again!

Thank you, mr.gimo!
