Guest dr3amz Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 Silly question, but I'm still quite new to using net on mobiles etc. I'm on a unlimited data plan (obviously with fair use policy of about 1-3gb a month) in my phone settings, Data Roaming is turned off - should this be on? or will that incur extra charges?

Guest beghiero Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 (edited) nm lol me being thick, must make sure to keep this off especially when I goto Egypt this year! Some year ago my data plan was working also in roaming (just with a lighter limit on the fair-use policy). I remember when I was in Egypt (Red Sea, Marsa Alam) where I was on an Italian-driven resort totally on-the-nothing, but with my laptop I was connected to Internet without problem. I had the queue out of my door when the Italian staff people (abroad for long time) learned they can look at their E-mail with my PC... Now my provider changed policies :D. Ciao, Piero.
