Guest ahsid Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 Hi, Here it is, my gps can turn on via the widget or regular menu, but it doesn't appear in the top notification bar like it used to. Google navigation doesn't seem to be able to locate me (it used to work, i live in France) anymore. I've tried with other gps status applications from market and still nothing, even though they all say that the GPS is "on". I'm running LCR 1.7 with pph's custom kernel. I've tried with other 1.100.05 based roms and still nothing... Is there a way to see the gps status in a log or something ? Thanks in advance for any help. Sid.

I have the same issue... no results so far - are you using a liquid s100 that original was donut or are you using the liquid E with more ram??

Guest KvCC Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 how long was it away? i send liquid to acer cs on 22/06 i go to cs to get back on 7/07 when i get back my liquid, i found that they choose the use of wifi location to instead of gps. i asked them ...i found that they do not know what is gps/agps/wifi. i teach them and they change the mainboard finally. i feel so angry about this event.

Guest KvCC Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 (edited) but do you realy think its hrdware linked cause i did realy nothin with my liquid? for my liquid , it really is a hardware problem because i flashed any version to test the usable of gps. it is no change after flash rom. if your gps of liquid does not work again, you can try to flash rom to prove that.
