Process "system" is not responding

I just flashed my own bootanimation and after the first boot I got this message.

I already had loads of acore crashes, but system ... WTH I didn't even know this existed!

Has anyone else seen this yet?

I should have clicked "close" and see what happens...

I've had it before. I clicked close, it sat on a blank screen for a while, then fixed itself. I think it was when the ROMs where damn unreliable.

And I clicked reply to the wrong post, and I can't be bothered going back now...

Same here, iirc it was while working on getting 2.1 beta look like vanilla.

Yep, IIRC it was semi-normal on the early 2.1 ROMs on startup. I think it was just timing out due to having to swap stuff in and out of memory a lot as the system was starting. More efficient and smaller ROMs seem to have made this less frequent.
