WiFi N/802.11n

Has the wifi n feature been implemented in any of the roms (such as r19/20/21 or cyanogen) since Google released the source code for 2.2? Some are saying that it is already active for them. Anyone have info on this?

"802.11n support is only on the 2.4 GHz band. 5 GHz band is not supported.

Also, it's a 1T1R radio (one spectral) vs. 2T2R (2x2 MIMO) like most common 802.11n consumer products meaning it's limited between 65 to 72 Mbps."

thanks for the info, but it doesn't tell me if the feature is enabled in the nexus one or not. Or does it not need to be enabled in the first place?

It's enabled. If it doesn't work, chances are your router doesn't support 802.11n over 2.4ghz. cheap routers are cheap.

I have an N router in the 2.4 GHz band, any way to check and see what I'm connecting as? I don't see anything giving me properties of the network connection.

Call *#*#4636#*#* and there should be WiFi info in one of the sub menus.

i did this, went to "Wifi information" then "wifi status", and there it said "Link Speed: 72Mbps" so looks like it is enabled. i'm running frf91 rom from Geo411m over at xda:
