Guest Conz Posted July 3, 2010 Report Posted July 3, 2010 Still not too familiar with Android (but getting there:P) and my Desire is still running at 2.1. When going through the kitchen for 2.2 i noticed the following with the a2sd+: This option adds an A2SD script to the startup process. This version also moved dalvik-cache to SD. To use A2SD, you should partition your SD card to have a FAT32 partition first, then an EXT3 partition second. If you include this option, do NOT include the A2SD option. Am i correct with thinking that this layout is opposite of what 2.1 had ? If I remember correctly that had ext3 first and fat32 for everything else so it was easier to pick the right numbers ? 2nd, is a2sd still needed as rumors were that 2.2 would allow apps to reside on the SD card ? My Desire is unbranded so I don't need a goldcard, and i still need to start using the fake-flash recovery .. but i have a nice class 10 sd here that Im going to use for Android 2.2.
Guest spammyspam Posted July 3, 2010 Report Posted July 3, 2010 MCR3.1 here and my ext partition is second after FAT.
