I accidentally pressed simlock on Recovery

Did i really simlocked my phone to my network? i tried flashing a certain rom which gave up an E:\ signature error, i flashed a couple of roms before and nandroided back to my previous 3.1 rom, all went fine, im 99% sure i cant simlock the handset but just want to be sure.

is this error appears when the package isnt signed as it should be?!

Says:

E: No signature

E: Verification failed

The rom your trying to flash isn't signed, either sign it or turn signature check off in recovery.
