Guest Richard K. Szabo Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 (edited) Hey all I've been running MoDaCo r5 for a couple of days now, and I feel it's slower than the Taiwan release used in r4. Is anyone else experiencing this? At first I didn't run Autokiller with 2.1 but two days ago I started using it with the preset Strict. It's basically the responsiveness that's changed. The software and settings I'm using in r5 was used in r4 too so I haven't changed anything besides the OS. Thanks Details: Battery temp. on 29-32C No A2SD Mobile network enabled at all times, Wifi/Bluetooth and GPS on request One widget 4 folders 4 shortcuts 2 pages in use PS: I did a full wipe etc Edited July 4, 2010 by Richard K. Guest Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 (edited) I think r5 runs smoother than r4, but that is probably because I did a full wipe. No problems here! Edited July 4, 2010 by Guest

Guest Dr. dre Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 Updated my post; I did a full swipe. There is no as such difference between the performance of both the ROM's, But I find it to be a little more stable and a little more responsive.
Guest Andrew Lim Posted July 5, 2010 Report Posted July 5, 2010 (edited) I flashed r5, and it did feel a little slower than the rooted ChungWa ROM. Could have been my imagination. But today I gave VillainROM 12 a shot, and I'm pretty sure that VillainROM 12 is noticeably faster. Edited July 5, 2010 by Andrew Lim
Guest gangreu Posted July 5, 2010 Report Posted July 5, 2010 I think R5 is faster than R4 About Villain, yeap i agree it is faster, but battery life is REALLY short. With MCR R5 i get almost 16hours of average use With Villain less than 7 hours.
