Guest indyjones Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 Hi all, I did post this in the MoDaCo Custom ROM for HTC Desire with Online Kitchen as I am currently running 3.1 but it soon got lost in the massive thread. The issue I have is that my contact pictures do not update from facebook, it works fine the first time but does not update from then on which I find pretty annoying (it even worked on my WM HTC touch diamond 2.....) I have tried not touching the Facebook for android program, and also tried updating it to the latest version neither seems to help and it is is stuck not updating. Does anybody please know what causes this or what a fix is ?

The only way i got this to work, is to remove facebook sync account, then add it again and it will sync the new pictures. yet to find something that I doesn't need me to do this!

Having same issue.. not syn from Facebook on my HTC desire..i tried the stock rom, the modaco one and same thing.. always getting connection error on My Desire.. Syncmypix not working too (some error about APi not found).. only the app SyncFb from the market is working for me now.. very annoying none of the fixes worked..

Guest wollyka Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 try this app http://www.appbrain.com/app/com.nloko.android.syncmypix i have narrowed the problem to the wifi connection.. if i use Edge, the htc facebook app and syncmypic work! but if u se wifi they refused to connect.. even though i can browse normally using wifi and i can use the market app!!
