Guest rza.android Posted July 6, 2010 Report Posted July 6, 2010 been talking to adamg who did it on the desire gona get some advice and start building as soon as i get the streak Hi did your Streak arrive yet? I also have a streak and cant wait for Froyo FTW!
Guest rza.android Posted July 7, 2010 Report Posted July 7, 2010 Have you started trying to build froyo yet ive read time and time again that the problem lies with the dell drivers. but from my very limited jni experience from what I understand is that you point to your compiled library and java compiler generates the c files neccessary for use with jni with native hooks from you java code. I'm also guessing the drivers dont change in the new builds unless dell decides to update the drivers. I may be wrong. I have no c experience but I know how to generate the c headers if you need. I guess the drivers can be pulled from the device and the methods should be very similar to drivers on other devices as drivers are written for android platform
