The HTC 'Vision' and Samsung 'Galaxy S2' have surfaced on the net today.

It's been a little quiet on the Android news front of late, but now the fuss has started to die down about 'that other phone' there are some juicy titbits starting to leak out.

So, as usual with these, take this with a pinch of salt, they may well turn out to be correct, or they could never see the light of day.

First up is the HTC vision.

Not much solid information on this, but the main thing that cannot be mistaken is the pull out keyboard, something that HTC have been strangely missing from their Android lineup.

It is said to feature the now standard specification for a high end HTC,in essence a Desire with a keyboard.

This is the only picture of the apparent phone, there are others out there, but they look like mockups.

Second up today is the Samsung Galaxy S2.

This Rumoured phone ticks all the boxes for a Android 3.0 spec requirements - and more!

Highlights include:

• 4.3" touchscreen with a 1280 x 720 resolution
  
• 1GB of ram
  
• 4GB of Rom
  
• 32GB built in storage.
  
• 2Ghz Processor - possibly dual core?
  
• 8 mp camera - possible full HD video
  
• Bluetooth 3.0
  
• Wifi up to 'n'
  
• Accelerometer with a possible Gyroscope
  
• And of course Android 3.0 'gingerbread'!
  

Rumoured to be late this year or early 2011.....

Would love to see it with a 4.7 or 5 inch screen though.

EDIT - that is how the Galaxy S should've looked. Then it would be a 10star phone instead of a brilliantly engineered device shoehorned into the skin of an iphone 3GS.

I will update if anything else comes out :P

I'd expect the Vision would be out fairly quickly considering the hardware is already out there in the desire/nexus.

There's also rumours that another HTC handset is coming in Q4.

The "HTC Ace"

Nothing is really known about it yet, but rumours are it's a cross between the Evo & Incredible.

ie, 4.3" AMOLED screen, 8Meg camera etc. But with a dual core processor and Android 3.0 Gingerbread.

Can't wait for something official on that one!!!

This seems to be a great phone by the specs... I'll stick with my HTC Desire... waiting for A) rooting (to have the guts to root it) :angry: 2.2 update to see if to root after it.

Our very own Paul has just tweeted the HTC vision is "very real" in response to an exchange with @pocketlint who have questioned it's validity.

I still need to see a Samsung galaxy S to see how it looks though..
