Background Images for Plugins

Has anyone been able to these to work?

bgimage - Background image for the plug-in, drawn over top of the background color. Default is system foreground color.

As per Microsoft

I've been trying to get this to work with the "Carrier" Plug-in.

Basically my Home Screen has a plain white Background (no .jpg) and where the Carrier (Orange) is i want an orange box (which i have saved as a jpg) underneath the white text, thus looks like an Orange Logo. I can't use a Colour/Color for the Background because i'm using the Date in that Plug-in as well (Carrier on the left, Date on the right), unless there is a way of having an orange background on the left and white/transparent on the right (i've tried doing this aswell, without success)

Any help or thoughts welcome.

In case anyone IS interested, to get a background colour on a specific part of a plug-in ie "carrier" you use bgtext in the "label" section.

Thanks Sunny & o909, had already downloaded all of your Skins, but it looks like the background images only work for selectable plug-ins and as the Carrier plug-in is not selectable i'll just have to make do with bgtext.

You fellows are doing great work with the skins - keep it up.

I now have a copy of XML spy and paintshop pro - am gonna play about a bit over the next few weeks and see what I can come up with.

(BTW, I really liked the HAL skin :) )
