PC Suite can't see phone

Hi there. I've got 2 pulses and one is running 1.5 and the other 2.1. For whatever reason the PC Suite wont recognise either phone when its connected to a PC. It installs the drivers for the phones ok and there are no devices without drivers in device manager but they just can't be seen in the suite. I've tried the suite and drivers off the cd and also from the new Hungarian update. Both machines I've tried it on are running winxp.

I really need to sort out some contacts so any help will be much appreciated! :)

i sync outlook with gmail and do it that way (soocial). the pc suit doesnt work, dont think anyone gotten it to work

Since you really need a Google account to make the most of your phone, why not just login to Google and manage your contacts from there? Then just sync your phone when your done.

The version that came with the Hungarian 2.1 works for me on XP.

Never thought about using gmail. Will go that route I think :D Spoke, whose version of Andriod 2.1 are you using? I'm using the FLB and running 1.5 on my other phone :P Really dont know what the prob is as it hooks up to the pc fine :)

I'm on the Hungarian 2.1.
