Guest kemkem42 Posted July 6, 2010 Report Posted July 6, 2010 Hello I've rooted my Nexus some months ago, using superboot. Works pretty good (freezing root issue sometimes) Then, I tried to update by OTA and manually to FRF91. It failed each times, with --- assert failed : apply_patch_check("/system/lib.modules/bcm4329.ko" [some hexa codes]") E:Error in /sdcard/update.zip (status 7) --- I switch my sd cards and tried few times more, wipe data/cache, same result So I guess that rooting the device has some side effects.. Is someone have an idea to fix this issue ? Get back to stock ERE27 ? Flash directly a custom rom (FRF91 rooted from modaco) ? (I have to use an 'external' recovery' in order to do this, right ?) Many thanks

Guest kemkem42 Posted July 6, 2010 Report Posted July 6, 2010 Found this : http://android.modaco.com/content/absolute...do-any-updates/ Have to do it I guess :)
Guest Gobelet Posted July 12, 2010 Report Posted July 12, 2010 Try this guys. This is the full OTA update for FRF91: http://android.clients.google.com/packages...46.cc653ee4.zip Straight from Google! This is supposed to be the full official OTA package, that replaces every file instead of patching them.
