Guest Riekr Posted July 6, 2010 Report Posted July 6, 2010 I'm trying to update to the latest acrobat reader from the market but when trying to install i get a "not enough space" (or something similiar, phone ui is in italian). I'm using apps2sd with lcr1.7 latest patch but i'm not sure this is the problem. Do anyone else have the same problem? this is my "df" output: /dev: 95060K total, 0K used, 95060K available (block size 4096) /sqlite_stmt_journals: 4096K total, 0K used, 4096K available (block size 4096) /system: 131072K total, 103264K used, 27808K available (block size 4096) /data: 197376K total, 100032K used, 97344K available (block size 4096) /cache: 91520K total, 2184K used, 89336K available (block size 4096) /data/DxDrm/fuse: Permission denied /system/sd: 468331K total, 66561K used, 401770K available (block size 1024) /sdcard: 7431548K total, 3002668K used, 4428880K available (block size 4096)[/codebox] i've noticed that adobe reader uses native libraries, can it be that installation fails due to some linking issue when using apps2sd? how would i check it? Thanks!
Guest Riekr Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 today it worked, the cases are 2: 1. phhusson 880 kernel has something preventing adobe reader to install (now i'm using the one found here https://android.modaco.com/content/acer-liq...-hack-as-in-n1/ ) 2. adobe has fixed it.. but the version is still 9.0.1 like when it was not installing
Guest liquid_it Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 sometimes updating an installed apk just doesn't work, issueing a "not enough space" error, even if you have free space. you can always try do uninstall the older version and install the new one from the market, it works for me.
