Okay, the wierdest thing happened to my spv today.

I was looking at a home page for tips and tricks and it said that turning system volume off in your "normal" profile could help speed up the spv.

So i went ahead and did it. Now it has gone completely mad and my "normal" profile is totally messed up.

First of all.: Out of the blue it changed my home screen to default orange (as if it had done a reset).

Second of all.: As I turned the system sound off and applied it turned all other off too (ring tone, alarm, message etc) and showed a x of the speaker in the status bar as if in silent mode.

Now it wont let me change it back or even change the name of the profile.

However, i restarted the thing and now it will let me change the volume but not the name. After another restart i wont let me change anything again.

Then i did a hard reset but the problem persists and I have no clue what to do.

Does any of you guys know what can be done?

You probably have the danish update, and if so, the profile problem is a known bug. A way around it is to set your phones language back to english. Another way is to reset the profile to default in the menu.

did not know it was a bug, all i have to figure out now is why it keeps turning on my gprs, anybody have any idea of why it is doing that?

the big G at the top (in a white box) means that you're capable of recieving GPRS connection, not that you're connected.

a little g means you're connected

Have you got it set to check your email (every 5 mins, for example) or backup automatically? I've found that Orange Backup doesn't automatically sever the GPRS connection after it's done its job.....
