Guest JamieGrossman Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 Hey I don't know if it's the HTC hero phone as a whole, or even just the new rom, but I am unable to text numbers that are not of the normal amount of numbers. I live in the UK, and I tried to text a 5 digit number to win a competition from the radio, but every time I tried to send the message, it just failed, 'unable to send'. Needless to say, someone else won the tickets. :) Anyone else got this issue? Cheers.
Guest sambartle Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 I've just tried texting the lottery play by text number which is 61111 with the MCR5 ROM and it works fine. It also used to work on all other ROMs and MCR's with that and the Gadget Show competition number. Perhaps your operator is blocking premium SMS for some reason? Might be worth giving them a ring to check.
