Guest NewPulseOwner Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 Hello again, Just another noob question, iv D/L'd some tunes onto my Pulse from Windows Media Player but when I attempt to listen to them on my Pulse it says 'unable to open'. How do I play these tunes or can somebody tell me how to change format or w/e to make them work. Thanks in advance! NPO.

Guest Azurren Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 do i just change the format somewhere in media player? No you will need to use a converter program.. A lot of hassle to be honest. I don't know exactly where you stand legally on this but IMO if you own the CD / digital rights to the song you should be allowed to download the mp3 (Very easy to find any song on google)

There must be a easy way to do this surely?
Guest AnDroidNooB Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 so apart from using a wma to mp3 converter your saying that there is NO WAY that the pulse can play wma files??? :) what about wmv?

There must be a easy way to do this surely? I meant that instead of converting all your songs to mp3 you could just download them off the various sites. But if you have a huge library you may want to find a bulk converter. Btw, you say MP3 player. Why aren't your songs already in MP3 format? Just drag and drop them onto your phones sd card. You can make folders or whatever so apart from using a wma to mp3 converter your saying that there is NO WAY that the pulse can play wma files??? :) what about wmv? wmv / wma is a Windows Media format.. Google / Linux =/= Windows..
Guest h3dshot Posted July 11, 2010 Report Posted July 11, 2010 im paranoid about downloading music from torrents or any other sites, but find the song u want on youtube copy the url and paste it into www.video2mp3.net this will.convert the yotube video to an mp3 which you can downooad for free and put on your phone. it also doesnt require any installation or sign ups etc but as azurren said if you have lots of songs it mite be better to install a bulk convertor, just google it and you'll find some freeware sooner or later :)
