Froyo radio with Eclair builds?

I am a big fan of (and paid user of!) Rom Manager.

With that having been said, so I wouldnt have to keep swapping radio ROMs, is it a bad idea to use the Froyo radio with Eclair builds?

What would the negative ramifications be ?

I think the only Eclair based ROM that supported the Froyo radio was CM 508.

If you chose to use that Radio on any other ROM you will probably get alot of hard resets, maybe boot looping, Force closes etc...

So its probably not a good idea :)

If you use Froyo radio with Eclair builds, the video camera won´t work.

Didn´t have other problems with the latest froyo radio on Paul´s Desire ROM

I didn't have any problems when i went back to EPF30 with the Froyo radio.

I use the EPF30 image from http://shipped-roms.com > extracted it and used fastboot to install recovery, system, boot.

Everything was fine Wifi, Camera, signal improved.
