Guest Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 I have tried to search the forums but wasn't able to find an answer. Right now I'm using A2SD+ with the SD card that came with my phone. I would like to switch to a larger card. Do I just format the card with clockworkmod and boot up with it and everything will work? I am also wondering why when I make a nandroid backup it says that it cant backup my ext partition even though A2SD+ works? Thanks for your help :) Andy

Thanks for your help :) Andy Hi Edit In Rom manager scroll to the bottom and select all clockwork mod recoveries and select 2.0.2.0 Scroll to the top and reboot in to recovery. Edit Put your new card in and reboot into clockwork mod as you would normaly. Format the card as you want for app2sd+. Reboot with your old card and use astro to backup your apps. On your new card delete all the data in the fat32 partition. Copy all data from old card and then use astro to restore your apps. The other option that might work is to take a full nandroid backup and restore to your new card. You might need to re-size the the new SD card afterwards. You can use gparted I'm sure if you Google "gparted boot cd" you will find one. Move the ext and swap partitions to the end and then re-size the fat32 partition. Hope that helps Peter Sorry its a bit long..... type on android.... Edited July 8, 2010 by pfsykes
