My Desire constantly boots into recovery and I cannot normally start the phone. When I use fake-flash and try to flash any ROM from the SD card, the process quickly finishes (1 second) and after reboot I'm again in the recovery...anyone can help? thanks

Sorted!

see post #14

thanks to Dave for help

I know i got a few errors and it was down to the Gold Card issue I had.

Let me know the steps you took and any details about the firmware versions you have. Who is you contract provider?

Did you get any errors while following this procedure.

Have you also tried Fake Flash... This can be very use full.

You could also try and unoot with this link and start again

I tried fake flash..the problem is that when I get into recovery and select any rom which I put on the SD card, the installation process gets aborted. When the phone reboots, it goes straight into recovery mode..so I can't even unroot it...

Unroot it !

Put an Original HTC Image on your sdcard (or the testimgae) and rename it to PB99IMG.zip then start your Phone while holding back+power then press power and wait until its loaded the image and confirm the update ;-) Or try first to clear storage via Hboot mode.

Yes, this was the way how to get rid of the problem. Thanks very much to Dave for helping me with all the process...
