Hey I found a great pc web service called appbrain and what it does is it allows you to search for an app and when you click install, it will send the link to the device, download it and install it for you

to make it work

Get appbrain and fast web installer from the market

Open "appbrain app market" and sign in using your google account

open "fast web installer" and allow it

Now you can go back to the home screen

Go to http://www.appbrain.com/ on the pc and sign in using the same google account

Now search for the app you want and click install

and voila it downloads and installs on the device

It works great and its instantaneous

Plus if you open up the app brain app, it will sync all your available apps and when you wipe, it will make note of all your apps and you can then install them all then next time you sync

I know this is in the wrong thread but the pulse has the problem where certain apps wont show up and this makes it easier to find those missing apps

I believe this just downloads from the market so if it's not showing on your device you won't be able to download the apps.

No it doesnt use the market anymore before you would have to use it but now the fast web installer gets it for you instead, I tried it out with a few apps that dont show up in the market and it works

ill put a link to the youtube video that I heard it from

EDIT, It uses the market to view the app details but it still downloads the app even if it cant find the app in the market
