Guest xaueious Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 (edited) See pershoot kernel: http://github.com/pershoot/nexus-kernel/bl...aster/q6audio.c Change Q6_HW_SPEAKER under Acer A1 section, max_gain and min_gain I think it works. arch/arm/mach-msm/qdsp6/q6audio.c Hopefully not a repost Original max_gain was like 800. Guest vache Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 Already try to apply that for LCR, there is not a big difference, just a lil' bit louder.
Guest xaueious Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 I think it's noticeable... Maybe it's just me? For LCR 1.7, no compcache, UV, 960MHzLCR_1.7_kernel_960MHzUV_nocompcache_audiohack_xau.zip
Guest Riekr Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 I think it's noticeable... Maybe it's just me? For LCR 1.7, no compcache, UV, 960MHz what does "UV" mean? this kernel seems to be stable for me, other 960 were rebooting after a while.
Guest Ayur Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 (edited) what does "UV" mean? this kernel seems to be stable for me, other 960 were rebooting after a while. I would guess it's "undervolted". Btw: What max gain was set in the Donut-kernel? It was much louder then...Maybe we could find a mean that's louder, but still has no clipping? Guest xaueious Posted July 11, 2010 Report Posted July 11, 2010 (edited) The drivers are different. If someone can download the source code they can look that up Here's liquide's q6audio.c http://gitorious.org/liquide/kernel/blobs/...qdsp6/q6audio.c Under #ifdef CONFIG_MACH_ACER_A1 [Q6_HW_SPEAKER] = { .min_gain = -700, .max_gain = 400, }, Edited July 11, 2010 by xaueious
