Guest GriZlore Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 Could anyone please tell me how to removed the black/grey square border around the icons on a rooted Streak? Thanks in anticapation
Guest the_didge Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 (edited) As far as i know you cant "Remove" the border. But there is a work around : Download Folder Organizer Lite from the market Go to home screen Press Menu then Add(or long press on blank part of screen) Select Widget Scroll down and select FolderOrganizer item Select Apps Choose the app you want..... Thats it :) IF you want it to appear without any text underneath you need to : Do as above but on the page to choose the app you wan,t there is a small check box with "Show text under icon" - Untick it :D Unfortunately all the icons come out small... i still haven't worked out a way to enlarge them. Hope this helped Edited July 8, 2010 by the_didge
Guest GriZlore Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 Thanks for taking the time to give such a full explanation, much appreciated That works a treat. :)
Guest PeterMV Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 Odd, this does not work on mine. The list of apps is not populated, the only thing it shows is the checkbox for Show test under icon. Cheers, Peter

Guest marra2 Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 thanks for this didge just done it on my streak, glad to see the back of them pesky black borders :)
Guest PeterMV Posted July 12, 2010 Report Posted July 12, 2010 (edited) Try and open the application itself, see if it populates the list of apps. For some reason it wasn't populated until after I rebooted the phone. But after that, way better without that border. Edited July 12, 2010 by PeterMV
