Guest the_didge Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 Nice Idea We know that bluetooth keyboards work well with the streak, so maybe its just about finding a nice big case to have both in... More likely to need a carrying handle and belt clip though, both together would be like carrying a brick around...
Guest Shauneh Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 Yeah, it would be huge but, if made right, and it had a stand, I could take notes A LOT easier XD
Guest yosemite-sam Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 Yeah, it would be huge but, if made right, and it had a stand, I could take notes A LOT easier XD Logitech could make another of these with the streak in mind lol but it would still work as it is with it being bluetooth.
Guest Dogmann55 Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 Hi Shauneh, Sorry am i missing something? as that looks like the Dell Official case and a Bluetooth keyboard so is possible now and can easily become your reality. I have already paired my Nokia SU-8W Bluetooth keyboard with my Streak and it works although to be honest typing on the Streak is so easy i just haven't really found the need to use it as yet. Although i don't really like that case as think it's to big and again don't feel the need to have my Streak supported like that for anything I do I don't know what's going on with ADVERTISING SPAM as expected their cases to be on sale by now and didn't receive an answer to my last E-Mail so for now as a temporary measure have bought one of those Neoprene cases from E-Bay in the Streak section just waiting for it to arrive. Guest Shauneh Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 Hahaha, yeah thats just a picture of the offical case, and some 2 second photo-shopping skill. That logitech keyboard looks exactly like what I would want, although thinking about it now, I could just bring a small bluetooth keyboard in my bag. Hopefully a nice one with a stand that is good for the streak will arise in the mist of forums, but imagine if there was a wired one? I.e. Wired keyboard that it docks to and in the keyboard wiring there is another battery for keeping the charge under heavy usage. -- Shauneh
Guest mobiholic Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 (edited) I.e. When they invest the time to create a wired keyboard specifically for their devices and then don't add any extra functionality, like something as obvious as a battery in the keyboard to extend the runtime of the device it just seems like such a missed opportunity.
