Here's the files I've used to fix the 3 issues I've faced with this rom.

inside is

• AccountAndSyncSettings.apk (odexd)
  
• bravo-keypad.kcm.bin - Correct size
  
• Enable of UK English - Does not force it, just enables the option
  

I've signed the zip so just flash from recovery.

Wipe of Cache & Dalvik may be needed.

This is ONLY for use with the 12/Jul r4 WIP refresh

Does this rom suffers from the Wifi never going to sleep problem(even if set to deactivate after 15 mins)??

i tried 2 different Froyo with Sense UI roms and seems every rom packed with the rosie\sense ui suffers from it...

I don't know if this has been reported to you yet, but the SU 2.2 app has some kind of problem with Titanium Backup. When it obtains root access, the message "Titanium Backup has been granted superuser access" and won't go away until you kill the SU app with the app manager. This issue is definitely new to the 2.2 SU app, with version 2.1 that was included with the DJDroid rom, it didn't occur.

Anyway to get the UK English for R4, as I already fixed most things with various other updates, and don't want to lose all my apps and start over again by updating to r4 refresh!

It's not for the HTC_IME it's a core system file.

But it should have any affect if i'm using Smart KayBoard Pro right?

Haven't had any issues with Keyboard popping out slowly or stalling while typing.

But decided to install r4 refresh but no wipe, as I read Pauls commnent.

However I applied your fixes zip but it doesn't show English UK, I guess I do need to wipe! :D

**Did wipe but still do not see English UK as an option in languages and Keyboard, I hope that was where I was supposed to look :)

Thank you ever so for the rom Paul.

I'm giving up on it for now, though. This is partly due to application incompatibility - there's some wierd thing with Android Agenda Plus which won't let me select a calendar unless using global settings. But also Market is consistently broken on my phone with R4 whereas it works absolutely fine with the Nandroid backup of R3. And I don't know why but R4 runs really laggy on my phone.

It's a shame cos the battery usage is most definitely much better on R4 but I'll just have to live with R3 (with everything else working well) for now :-)

Works great.

When i use MarketEnabler my APN's changes and the phone thinks i'm in Germany or the US depending on which country/operator i choose.

I dont rember this issue with MCR 3?

So far I'm missing Logmein, Pure Calendar (non-grid) and Tapatalk Pro.

I've tried pushing an updated build.prop (using ro.build.fingerprint=htc_wwe/htc_bravo/bravo/bravo:2.1-update1/ERE27/155070:user/release-keys) to /system/ with adb in Clockwork Recovery Mode without any success so I'm running out of ideas.

Am I trying to install build.prop in the wrong way (does it need to be done by an update.zip and if so can someone confirm the method) or is there something else going on here ?

ok, will try to figure out why, I know I get the option after a full wipe during the initial set-up wizard and it then is shown in local

Although I'm sure Paul will probably fix it soon.

I used this - flashed from recovery - and it fixed my market issues. Hope it works :)

Have just re-installed, this time with 'HTC IME' and the keyboard now shows up - which I'm sure will be an obvious statement to most of you! :)

Noticed that all the 'Sense' crud is back and the keyboard is the awful HTC one though. :P

i already got that problem... My SU is 2.2.2. LOL.. Dont remember how i got it...

The damn message didnt go away... But it didnt happend all the time... Just sometimes... I reboot the Desire and sometimes it gets stuck, sometimes it does not...

(Looks like Logmein beta may be currently closed which would explain why I can't see that one :D )
