Streak Cases

I see that the Nintendo is very close to the same size as the Streak.

Streak: 150 x 79.0 x 19

Nintendo: 137 x 74.0 x 18.9

DSi XL: 161 x 91.4 x 21.2

So far these cases are as close as I can get to my Streak ..

The Streak is just barely wider than my checkbook .. maybe a nice leather zippered wallet ??

While the case looks good, I doubt whether you can put your credit cards there...

Money isn't the issue for me because I am a bazillionaire, or one might think so if they were to know the truth about how much money I dump into purchasing gadgets each year.

All kidding aside I haven't seen them on the USA website yet and Dell UK won't ship to the USA. I would like to have a made to fit case but for now I just want something that fits.

When I first purchased my iPhone [from Italy so I could have it UNLOCKED by Apple] I babied it for about 2 months. By then I knew I was not going to eBay it like I do most of my other gadgets, I was going to USE IT .. and use it a lot .. I had a really rich feeling leather case that came with some other gadget I bought on eBay and so I kept my iPhone in there when I wasn't rushing to gather my stuff at the last minute. most of the time my iPhone was a 'tool' that I dropped into a pocket of my purse, or stuck in the back pocket of my jeans .. I don't think I want a phone/tool/gadget that I have to be too careful with because it will become a bother ..

Just came back from New York, and passed by a Best Buy shop (not really touristic :angry: ...).

For US$ 20 (GBP 13), you can get a "Swiss Gear - Lunar Portable Hard Drive Case - Blue" (search bestbuy.com for more info) - perfect fit width wise, well padded, and you get some room on the height side for the earphones, and a small pocket on the front.

Not the cheapest, but works great - it is now my main case.

BTW, the "Wenger - Legacy Portable Hard Drive Case - Black" was also a good fit, same dimensions...

I was looking at one of these, but ordered the leather streak case from supertrader instead.

t's a shame there aren't any (in realistic terms) decent purpose made cases for the streak available - A few leather wallets on Ebay , a poorly fitting case from CPW , and a clear plasitic thing from Dell l (which , i have to admit I cannot make head nor tail of ! )

Recently , as I walked past a CD stall on a Norwich market , I saw this on the stall , with a £1 price tag on it , fits the Streak nicely - And I love the Geek connection (Psion Siena case ) I was about to order one of the £24 leather wallets from eBay , but will not bother now

Not often I use a case like this as I prefer ones that I can use without removing the device , but for when I do this is great , just wish the colour wasn't so festive !
