Ok, I have a T-Mobile locked and branded Desire and so trying to create a Goldcard but it just gives me Permission Denied when trying to get the CID, what am I doing wrong? I have followed the steps to the T

You haven't said which method you are using to create your Goldcard but I used the Goldcard Tool app which made it a whole lot easier.

You can find it here http://android.modaco.com/content/software...n-goldcardtool/ There are instructions how to use it too, you have to right click and "run as administrator" on Windows Vista, not sure if you have to do the same on other operating systems.
