Hey there, I uploaded a youtube video demonstrating the problem at hand. My camera looks _terrible_ - as if I've run a posterising filter through it or something. The video best describes the problem: http://crum.bs/l/djs I can't remember which ROM I'm using, but settings -> about shows the following info:

Model Number: RBM2

Firmware Version: 2.1-update1

Baseband version: 6383

kernel version: 2.6.29-perf huawei@localhost #2

Build Number: U8230V100R001C123B819SP01

Thanks, I hope this is enough info. I can supply more if you tell me where to get it from.

I have the same problem when I was using the Chinese Iphone like phone.

The camera produced the same results as you posted.

It was a hardware problem thought...so my advice is to get your phone to the official service.

That's horrible. Does it take photos OK?

Nope, photos are just as bad.

I guess that's what I'll have to do then, if no one else has had this problem.
