Guest paesan Posted July 10, 2010 Report Posted July 10, 2010 thanks alot! im going to try it just to tease myself and get a feel for 2.2 sense :) The alpha 3 version is actually very stable. There is a graphic bug that shows some white lines every now and then but overall it works very well. Big thing for me is trackball wake, alert and succession are not supported yet. Right now I am still using the MCR 21 froyo for my everyday use because the lack of trackball features. The graphic issues for me I can tolerate.

Thanks for pointing that out. If all goes well King will get all these issues resolved.
Guest Scott Ricketts Posted July 10, 2010 Report Posted July 10, 2010 This is interesting. I'm going to keep an eye on this for when it goes beta. Of course Paul could have an "official" Desire leak by then so this may be moot.

Guest Rogobono Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 I hope to see Sense 2.2 on Nexus One too :D:D!
Guest teddyballgame Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 it looks like paul released another update to the froyo sense rom for the desire today. im sure when he finds the time he will have a great port for us N1 users. cant wait!
Guest stevenz Posted July 15, 2010 Report Posted July 15, 2010 (edited) Paul has roughly 9,000 followers, he probably gets a few mentions every few minutes, he's probably not going to be very interested in people he doesn't know. Also, why is the topic "!!!!' when it's a question of availability, not an announcement? Edited July 15, 2010 by stevenz
Guest Sylar2010 Posted July 15, 2010 Report Posted July 15, 2010 It would be a great first step if Paul can port the Desire Froyo Camera app on N1 custom roms! Kingklix is very good in flaming forums with exeprimental roms that he never update, isn't him who started to port the X10 rom for 24h only?
Guest Scott Ricketts Posted July 15, 2010 Report Posted July 15, 2010 I've never heard of the guy before this, but for the moment I'm content with Paul's Froyo and I'll wait for his Desire 2.2 port. Paul does quality work period and it's worth the wait. Do I miss Sense? Heck yeah I do. But I'll wait for something that's had Paul's attention to detail and close relations to HTC before trying something as wonky as the other guy's ROM. Plus Paul's been good at saying he'll update things when he's got something to update and since Froyo dropped spending time on a 2.1 ROM doesn't really make sense as a good use of his time. I check back every day and watch Twitter and I know something will eventually come up. Really we're waiting on HTC more than anything. When we finally get a leaked Desire ROM from them, we'll see something very shortly thereafter.
