Debian on r5 ?

I'm trying to run Debian on MoDaCo custom rom r5 but I didn't even manage to get into the debian shell. I'm using this 2.1 zip, loxleys bootdeb and this installer.sh.

I ran installer.sh and got this

To enter the Debian Linux console just type 'bootdeb'

Make sure you do a proper exit for a clean kill of Debian!

Is there anyone who managed to run debian or other linux distro on Paul's 2.1 rom ?

you need a kernel that support loopback mounting. the stock htc kernel (as used in r5) doesn't support that.
