Any body else have the same problem? The same here, even after trying to install official 2.1 without CUSTOM_HU the problem with touchscreen persists. I had to reboot twice to get it working, and it repeats after every flash of ANYTHING via recovery.
Guest Simon O Posted July 12, 2010 Report Posted July 12, 2010 I guess since this only happens when you've been in recovery indicates that the problem is related to recovery. I've asked Amon_RA for an update but I've heard nothing back since he replied to me.

Guest Simon O Posted July 19, 2010 Report Posted July 19, 2010 I've been looking in to this in more detail and it's not related to recovery. The Tre kernel and the T-Mobile kernels have the same configuration as far as the touchscreen is concerned which makes me think that the problem may be caused by touchscreen firmware versions. It's know that the official updates flash some firmware and it's possible that the Tre update has flashed some updates to the touchscreen controller. The best solution I can do is produce two versions of the ROM. One for people that have updated using the T-Mobile update, and one for people that have updated using the Tre update (or are willing to update using this). The tre kernel brings a lot more stability and so far I've not had any SMS issues. I hope this issue is finally fixed for people.
