Guest BlackWhite Posted July 11, 2010 Report Posted July 11, 2010 Deall all, I'm really a newbie that I don't know how to deal with this problem now, my desire has HBOOT 0.80 and a WWE Asia 1.19 ROM, I rooted my device and flash r21 with default MoDaCo additions and A2SD, for some reason I need to return to WWE Asia 1.19 now, I try to run RUU but it said 140 Bootloader Error, I searched a lot here but still can not find the solution, How can I come back to WWE Asia 1.19? thank you very much.
Guest BlackWhite Posted July 11, 2010 Report Posted July 11, 2010 I noted somebody could return back to WWE 1.21, why does WWE Asia 1.19 not? I am confused.
Guest blogger Posted July 11, 2010 Report Posted July 11, 2010 You're not the only one who's confused, bro...
Guest BlackWhite Posted July 11, 2010 Report Posted July 11, 2010 If I could flash 1.21, could I flash 1.19 from 1.21? is it possible?
Guest blogger Posted July 11, 2010 Report Posted July 11, 2010 If it helps any, I flashed from tcl_r4_desire_hb80.rar (i think that was 1.21something) to 1.18.762.7 without a problem....

Now I flash 1.21 from r21, that's no problem, but I can not flash 1.19 from 1.21, if 1.18 could be flashed maybe I could have a try that root->1.18->1.19, I am sufferred with 1.21, I hope official 2.2 is coming soon.
Guest blogger Posted July 11, 2010 Report Posted July 11, 2010 define "cannot"? did you wipe all caches/etc after reflash? i didnt once and ended up with boot screen looping. once cleared, all worked.

Guest ruffruff Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 guys, here's what i did to unroot my desire and flash back to 1.19 asia rom. 1) wipe phone 2) download the usb-brick fix from the forum 3) flash that in recovery mode and power off phone 4) insert gold card, hold back and power on phone 5) connect the phone to your computer and run the RUU_Bravo_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.19.707.7_Radio_32.36.00.28U_4.06.00.02_2_release_126179 signed.exe 6) once complete, power off and remove your gold card. 7) put in your normal sd and power on your desire. Then you will see your original un-rooted 1.19.707.7 firmware. I went through alot of trouble and hit in the same errors as you when i tried to unroot. So, just sharing my experience here and hope this can helps you.

Guest BlackWhite Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 I will have a try, it's a pretty good news for people who want to flash back to stock 1.19 to get warranty if I am successful.
Guest BlackWhite Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 @ruffruff thank you very much, my Desire came back to 1.19, I could send my Desire to the service center to get repared with charge free.
