Haven't had chance to check properly but Extended Controls and SwitchPro Widget definitely not showing (unless they've been taken off anyway). Had the same problem with the Tre update. Didn't check on the Hungary update. I'm using the ADW launcher version. Edited July 12, 2010 by Narsil

This can be reproduced using any GPS enabled software. I found it using My Tracks. Enable recording and after 15/20 mins try to the menu' option Get Location.

Guest Simon O Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 This might be a big ask but could somebody please grab the full logs from their phone whenever the Gmail issue happens please. It's only affecting a very small number of users but, still, I need to find out exactly what is causing this. Also could you please let me know if the issue happened on beta5.1 at all? It could be another issue caused by the Tre kernel. Honestly... do Huawei bother to test things before they release? One would assume that Tre kernel would work like the older ones but better.. it's not really the case.
Guest Simon O Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 (edited) Gmail Push Problems I need help with the Gmail push issue. Could you please do the following: 1) Connect your phone to your computer and open DDMS 2) Send yourself an email from another account (if possible) to your Gmail account. 3) Once sent, check DDMS. If it's receiving push notifications then you will see messages like these: 07-13 12:09:33.678: INFO/Gmail(10275): MainSyncRequestProto: lowestBkwdConvoId: 0, highestHandledServerOp: 281545 07-13 12:09:33.848: DEBUG/Gmail(10275): sending notification. I'm not at home to run DDMS but I think the issue is within data connection, because and Fancy Widget from time to time stop's with refreshing.
Guest Simon O Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 Do some of you get force closes on boot with acore? I seem to have found the cause: 07-13 13:54:58.871: WARN/ActivityManager(1205): Scheduling restart of crashed service com.android.contacts/com.huawei.common.sim.PhoneSvcStateHdlrService in 5000ms 07-13 13:54:58.871: WARN/ActivityManager(1205): Scheduling restart of crashed service com.android.contacts/com.huawei.common.sim.DatabaseOpenHandlerService in 14999ms[/code] It doesn't happen on every single boot but whenever I do get the acore error it's always related to this same thing. Question is... how do we fix this?
