Guest RamZu Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 I had a problem too when upgrading to the new release. I remove the batery for about 10sec and (with the phone turned off) flashed the phone again. This time (after some minutes) all work ok.

Guest HustlinDaily Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 Is it possible that you are out of battery? Does the little battery light flash when you plug it into a wall charger? Have you tried this? Remove and replace battery Plug in USB cable < & Camera, then Power

Have you tried this? Remove and replace battery Plug in USB cable < & Camera, then Power Use the hardware button combo to go to recovery, and reflash your rom.. if that doesn't work, probably the recovery partition is corrupted. Boot into fastboot and flash the recovery partition, probably malez and then your pc will detect your phone, reflash your phone.
Guest DasTisu Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 Excuse me for referring to a Swedish forum, but I had exactly the same problem. I simply took the battery out and let it rest for 15 minutes. After the phone worked again with the old ROM. http://www.swedroid.se/forum/showthread.php?t=14442
Guest Raskell Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 The computer dosent find the phone I had the same problem and fixed it after several days of trying. I ended up having the Acer Tool program running and waiting for a connection (it could not find the phone), then opening a CMD Prompt window using adb to write to the phone as if writing the recovery img. As soon as the adb write began, the Acer Tool saw the phone connection and I flashed the new bin. It did depend on timing between the two apps, but it did ultimately recover my Liquid from being bricked.

Guest HustlinDaily Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 I think he means this- http://code.google.com/p/acer-liquid-malez...ki/howToInstall Boot phone in normal mode On your computer copy recovery image to your androidsdk/tools/ folder go in cmd (if you are under windows) or terminal (under linux) cd androidsdk/tools/ adb reboot bootloader fastboot -i 0x0502 flash recovery malezRecovery_XX.img sending 'recovery' (4876 KB)... OKAY writing 'recovery'... OKAY fastboot -i 0x0502 reboot
