Hello, can anyone point me where to research more about my problem?

The Omnia is refusing to recharge the battery no matter what cable I am using. I got it with the 5-pin one, and later I purchased the 7-pin one, hoping this will solve the problem.

I tried USB 1.x, USB 2.0, I tried ActiveSync and My Storage settings.

Just changed the ROM to WM 6.5 (i900XBIJ1) and the radio to DXIF1 and there is no change. The pocket is not charging from car charger either.

Help anybody? Is there something I didn't try? :)

It syncs data though? If so you have covered the cable part. Get a little flash light and magnifying glass and inspect the jack on device and be assured that all pins are intact and not folded down or damaged. On the i910 in the states the pins for charging are on each edge of the plug and not the middle ones. Also you could try adding a little pressure to plug of cable while plugged into device up, down, left, and right to see if it may be a cold solder joint within device. But not too much pressure just enough to try to engage a contact. And lastly there was a chap a few threads down that was experiencing an issue with only charging while powered down.

Does it charge with wall charger?

just thinking out loud.

good day.

Maybe I should try charging while powered down, I newer did that but it seems senceless to me :)

The wall charger is my only rescue ever since i bought it about 2 years ago. Do you think I should send it for diagnostic and repair? It is still in guarantee, but I've changed the ROM a couple of times :D Well, I guess I will just go and ask what is the policy of the store :P
