STILL a ringtone delay

hey all,

im using the latest modaco ROM and radio version on my Hero and i still have ringtone delays. I have searched other forums and people thought that this issue would be fixed with the latest 2.1 release, but i still lose 2-3 full rings before my phone makes a noise. im losing a lot of calls to this.

anyone have any suggestions?

Guess that's a general Android or at least Hero issue... Had it with every ROM I've used so far.

do you have silent rington on pickup (or similar - also dont know exactly where to find this setting, but its there :) ) enabled? if so disable, and it will improve lots.
