2 questions in 1: Dropbear howto and ADB

Hi,

I have two questions:

1.

Cannot seem to get adb usb drivers installed (HTC Hero 2.1 WWE) (wizard complains software is not found).

2.

I would like to install dropbear, but not as a service running all the time... Only on demand... Are there any procedures existing for this?

Just for the record. I did use the search function and not only on Modaco :-).

Nobody with a clue on how to resolve the adb issue?
