Windows7 and Pulse

When i plug my pulse into my pc it comes up with the windows could not recognise this item when i try to update the driver from the pc suite it says the best driver is already installed

Please help a newbie i managed to update to the hun2.1 rom but would like to use a custom rom so i can use SD card storage :-(
