From 4399 back to 3883...disfunctional rebelsim

Yesterday I upgraded my unrooted Streak from build 3883 to 4399....it seems this wasn't such a good idea. The Rebel sim worked fine under 3883 however the upgrade to 4399 gave me similar problems as others reported with the Rebel sim. After the upgrade I could only establish connection (incl 3G) via manual network setting (selecting T-mobile by hand). Today being abroad (London) I can't get any connection.

Is it possible to return to build 3883? ....assuming the issues are related to build 4399 and so rendering the rebelsim useless. What is an easy way to downgrade?

There is an easy way to downgrade, its on here somewhere, try searching as i cant remember where exactly it is. You have to install the stock recovery rom, then download an official update.pkg from dell, very simple.
