best official Rom?

Im on a limited data plan so can't test all roms

What do you guys think?

If you're just talking about official rom, the choice shouldn't be hard, as there are only 2 roms : one for Android 1.6, and one for Android 2.1.

So, hard to choose :angry:

1.6 is a bit faster, but personally I prefer 2.1...

For custom rom, I didn't tested all the rom, so I can't tell.

Really, I did comparison: flashed 1.100.05, with LCR 1.7, run few days.

Than flashed latest donut ROM with ACR 1.5 and 920 mHzz kernel, and I found Donut bit slower, but maybe it's just me...

Well personally I prefer 2.1, and didn't noticed it's really slower than 1.6, I said that by reading some feedback about the official 2.1 :angry:

For the leaked bin, as I said I didn't test the latest official bin, but I'm running one of the latest leakd (1.100.05) and I'm very satisfied with it, battery usage is pretty cool, and no much bugs, but I'm not a hard tester as well :D

Even with 6gb I can still download 40 bins and 10 roms a month or vice versa

That is on my mobile data... With home wired you should have more

You should make your own decision, try out the 4_5 bin available

The fact that it is a leak makes it unofficial already... Maybe the right questiion is, what is the best BIN for acer liquid.

My answer is, depends on your preference. I have used the official 1.6 donut. It's quite fastb swiping, sms, etc). However, it is limited. Now, I am using 1.100.05 bin.. slower but more beautiful.. I have not yet tried 1.100.39 bin yet as I am still waiting for LCR 1.8 to support it.. Hopefully it is based on stream (with dolby and dialer)

To answer the question about my dataplan its 1gb a month so it's not that lame i suppose a leak is unofficial but its made by acer for the liquidE
