Problem with contacts sync

I have a problem with my Pulse not syncing the contacs.

When I try to sync manually I get an android.process.acore force close

and when I open Groups in the contacts app I get a com.huawei.android.phonebook force close

Google mail and calendar work correctly.

My Pulse is running MCR 1.7 over the December update.

Obvious question would be did you wipe before installing the 1.7 rom?

other than that I have no idea what could be causing this bug and it would be easier and faster to re-apply the december update, wipe then re-flash the 1.7 rom than trying to find the cause of the errors then trying to find a solution :angry:

Check that Data service is enabled.. Only other thing that could cause an error like this (That I know of)

Yeah, but both have obvious answers :D

Ofc I wiped and I know syncing without internet is not possible (though that probably won't cause an fc)
