Guest Borkata Posted July 17, 2010 Report Posted July 17, 2010 You need linux machine with yaffs support installed and then mount .img.

Guest canko20 Posted July 18, 2010 Report Posted July 18, 2010 same result... and....where you find the system.img of an acer bin file?
Guest loop0 Posted July 18, 2010 Report Posted July 18, 2010 i have tried under linux with the same result... i have take system.img from SDCAAPZ folder of acer download tool... any other idea? edit: it is possible that acer download tool change system.img IN THE PHONE after flashed it?? edit2: try to open the new 39 bin's system.img with unyaffs and you will see... Acer has added a header for each *.img in SDCAAPZ folder. If you used a hex editor you will find that system.img begin with acersystM or the boot.img begin with acerboot. So yes "acer download tool change system.img" BEFORE flashing it in the phone. You need to remove this extra header but i don't know how many byte you need to remove. If you know what is the beginning of a yaffs filesystem, then remove all the garbage before it.
