Guest xspyda Posted July 17, 2010 Report Posted July 17, 2010 (edited) Have just received the galaxy s and the lash is driving me mad! I'm quite willing to try a custom rom to address this but need to know I can restore the phone to EXACTLY as it is now. What problems am I likely to experience in doing this and will I be able to return the rom and radio to exactly as I have it now? Uk model unbranded and sim free if that helps? FW I9000XXJF3 KERNEL 2.6.29 Thanks. Edited July 17, 2010 by xspyda

So again, can I return the state of the galaxy to exactly as it is now following a flash?

Not sure if Samsung is able to tell that the firmware has been flashed some other way though? Does reflashing invalidate warranty?

Doesn't seem to be available a anywhere that I can find. Without being able to test a custom rom I can't experience the galaxy without the lag and there's a good chance I'll be sending it back because of it. Seems a shame because aside from the size and lack of flash I think the galaxy is probably three best phone out there currently.
