Guest DJogi Posted July 17, 2010 Report Posted July 17, 2010 So, I worked on this tutorial http://android.modaco.com/content/t-mobile...-with-pictures/ In the first two steps successfully, and to step up to one switch cell phone with red keys, and decrease key and the ignition turned on the phone, uštekao USB cable and launched one application on a computer, but then comes the problem, I'm on the phone screen has not appeared anything other than what is normally there on a blue background, and so I left a cell phone for a while and how I could s nothing more to do with him, took out the battery to be switched off, and tried to turn it back, but nothing. pass the initial screen that says t-mobile, then he writes di Android, but there appears a black illuminated background and I can no more with your phone except to shut down removing the battery. so if someone had the same problem and it has a solution I'd asked me to explain. because the cell phone is one day old. and yes, I put ROT with T-Mobile Hungary, version 2.1

Guest Sl4yer Posted July 17, 2010 Report Posted July 17, 2010 And there was like 100000000000000000 post's that was saying NOT TO ROOT 2.1 ROM with 1.5 super boot!!! This is what happens when people don't really understand what they're doing, and perhaps don't do it quite right. I was one of those people a few months ago - I was terrified when I first flashed my phone. And of course I've got the benefit of reading the instructions in my native language. There's a difference between following instructions to achieve something, and actually knowing what's happening and why! I now know a tiny bit about Android, and flash things without concern. So, if you're doing it for the first time, READ, READ AGAIN, PREPARE, CHECK, DO (WHILST READING THROUGH AS YOU DO IT!). If you're not sure, or if you can't afford for it to fail, DON'T DO IT! These are not official upgrades. So, does anyone know how to fix this guy's phone?

These are not official upgrades. So, does anyone know how to fix this guy's phone? He just need to: 1.Put official T-Mobile Update (from T-Mobile Hungary) on SD card (The update need to be in the folder named "dload") 2.Power Up the phone while holding VOLUME UP+END CALL and GENTLYYYY tap power on button 3.After you see on your screen UPDATE SUCESFULL....RESTARTING NOW, pull out the baterry and restart your phone WOILA And if this doesn't work then install TIME MACHINE>OFFICIAL DECEMBER UPDATE FROM T-MOBILE UK then repeat the process describet above. (don't ask where to find time machine and how to install because I will go MAD , SEARCH the FORUMS) I dont mind to help people...but I do mind when they are lazy to read and search the forums, because this issue was on this forums like 10000 times Edited July 17, 2010 by goce.nakov

It was a steep learning curve when I first flashed MCR 1.7, and the instructions were not all in the same place! It SHOULD be easier for the noobies now!
