Guest webbietech Posted July 18, 2010 Report Posted July 18, 2010 Hello Everyone I try to install dhd.ko But this does not work. I load the new kernel 880 mhz and it goes without problems. I go on my windows xp to C: \ android \ tools \ I give the command: adb push dhd.ko / system / etc / wifi / and then tells the system says device not found While earlier in the same session or the kernel can load easily. What am I doing wrong? I use the LCR 1.7.2
Guest Dona' Posted July 18, 2010 Report Posted July 18, 2010 Have you activated usb debugging ? What happens when you do adb devices ?
Guest andrew2511 Posted July 18, 2010 Report Posted July 18, 2010 (edited) put the file dhd.ko in the adb folder then adb remount adb push dhd.ko /system/etc/wifi/[/codebox] Edited July 18, 2010 by andrew2511
Guest xaueious Posted July 18, 2010 Report Posted July 18, 2010 (edited) It's part of boot.img in those kernels What are you trying to do? Edited July 18, 2010 by xaueious
Guest webbietech Posted July 18, 2010 Report Posted July 18, 2010 It's part of boot.img in those kernels What are you trying to do? Superboot overclocked 880 mhz C:\android\tools adb reboot bootloader fastboot -i 0x0502 flash boot boot93-880 fastboot -i 0x0502 reboot This works: I placed the dhd.ko in the tools folder and then WI-FI doesnt work and then in C:\android\tools adb push dhd.ko /system/etc/wifi/ device not recognized Thanks
Guest webbietech Posted July 18, 2010 Report Posted July 18, 2010 Try another kernel. that does the trick: thanks!
