Guest abs_rio Posted July 18, 2010 Report Posted July 18, 2010 I've recently noticed a few scratches on my omnia i900 screen. I'm pretty certain I have a screen protector on there but I've tried every way possible to remove it and it doesn't. I was thinking of replacing the screen anyway as I'm looking to sell it on. Would I just need to replace the top panel (digitiser) or the whole LCD screen? Thanks in advance.
Guest maf107ezk0 Posted July 18, 2010 Report Posted July 18, 2010 Replace just the digitizer - the LCD is way way inside. I'm sure it won't have any scratches.

Guest Hermit Dave Posted July 20, 2010 Report Posted July 20, 2010 thanks for the reply. that shouldn't be too costly...just need a decent guide. i'll be moving onto the htc desire  I was in the same boat. I got a decent digitizer from ebay... arrived in 2 days and in the second try i replaced it correctly. Funny thing was that i could not disable wifi and finally did a hard reset and that did it. The sensitivity is beautiful. Here;s the link for the digitizer. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=380241655163 cost me 12.99 pounds I started with the guide on the sticky posts on top but i was not successful. the seller emailed me the service manual and that helped. Took about 15 mins. There are two flip switches. Look at the post for how to change panel and i will tell you which ones Hermit PS: total 15 mins to change it. All you need is a small phillips screwdriver
