Guest _Rowan Posted July 18, 2010 Report Posted July 18, 2010 I have the same issue. Ive thought that its some strange security device so as the buttons wont work while in your pocket. My problem is that when the phone is in it's car cradle i cannot use the back or home button while driving. This is necessary when entering contact sheets. I need to be able to have minimal interface while in the car so I can keep my attention on the road.

Guest Quipeace Posted July 18, 2010 Report Posted July 18, 2010 (edited) All four buttons are working fine on a table (or pretty much any surface) on Xian 0.7f , sensitivity is set to high. Edited July 18, 2010 by Quipeace
Guest Charlton22 Posted July 19, 2010 Report Posted July 19, 2010 All four buttons are working fine on a table (or pretty much any surface) on Xian 0.7f , sensitivity is set to high. But not on LCR 1.7.2 :D Can any dev build a patch to install on all roms? That would be great!! Thanks
Guest scrap2434 Posted July 19, 2010 Report Posted July 19, 2010 I think it had something to do with the electrical conduct through the phone when you are holding it. Stock ROMS seems to have this problem, when you hold it it is fine, on a table it doesn't respond.
Guest eumate Posted July 19, 2010 Report Posted July 19, 2010 Same was for me, but the sensivity patch has solved it.

Guest phhusson Posted July 19, 2010 Report Posted July 19, 2010 Any one can help me enabling the touch sensitive keys when the device is steady on a table? Thanks... You can try writing specific values to /sys/devices/platform/i2c-adapter/i2c-0/0-0066/threshold But I didn't get any specific change when changing this value.
