No, sorry actually it is at the top-right (Almost on the outer rim) it covers the 4th screw. There should be a white circle.. If it isn't there or any other colour than white it's not a good sign

Why do you ask anyway?

I ask because my phone has come back from repair and this is now red. T-Mobile have said it is not a mositure indicator but it indicates the back of the phone has been taken off - i.e. its been repaired.

I myself don't actually know if that is a moisture sensor (Just alot of people have been claiming that)

But I guess if someone else could confirm that they do indeed replace it with a red sticker after repair..

But hey, if they gave you a red sticker so what

For me that does indeed look like some chemical indicator.

In my opinion they just screwed something up and don't want to tell you that ...

But if everything works don't bother

It's a Liquid Ingress Indicator. If you go to the T-Mo website, and go to the support section with Fix My Phone. Use the fix it yourself tool, select the Pulse and go through them saying it's broken and not fixed yet until you get to this one. If you say that it is no longer white it says that it has most likely suffered from liquid or moisture damage.

IMO, I'd get it replaced, as if it stops working in a week or so you'll know why...

Thanks - i was looking in the wrong place (top left). The sensor pad (top right has been removed - as said early there is a screw behind it. So I dont have the sensor any more.

Taking my phone back as it still reboots - the joke of it is that the repairers put this down to the "battery life being poor" - i will be glad when i get a new pulse or another phone - I fear this will take weeks and weeks

been a while since i've been on this forum, but i think i can give my 2 cents on this. Took my phone up carantuohill in ireland in torrental rainfall, and the screen for a week was/is struggling (a very strange angled box appeard on the screen, as well as lots of water marks under the screen) but the square in the top corner you are talking about is white. There is no way, with how wet the rest of the phone got (and how wet i got) that this section would have remained dry. So despite the above might be other indicators

BTW my mate's iphone no longer works!! Pulse = winner (Actually my other mate's blackberry had no troubles whatsoever - calling that 1-1, loss on penalties)

Mine was repaired and now has neither a red nor white sticker, just the exposed screw. Plus there seems to be some sort of screw missing on the bottom right

Oh well it works so I guess I shouldn't complain too much.

Until next time you have it repaired when they refuse because of the missing screw. Even if you don't send it back, I would certainly inform them about it.

How quickly did you system reboot after using it ? It happens for me after 25 mins/30 mins continuous browsing and I doubt they test for that long so they pass phone as ok
